Speaker:  Lou Kleinman

Our speaker this week is an Emmy and Guild Award winner who came to talk to us about the film industry.  It also turns out he is the son-in-law or our own President Joe Brand.  Lou talked about how the technological/ computer age changes have transformed Hollywood and the movie/television industry; literally changing the playing field.   It's either keep up with the changes or find another line of work.  Lou was an energic, enthusiastic speaker who clearly loves what he's doing.  Most recently he has been teaching at the USC Film School, but is also a visiting professor at DePaul University in Chicago.  His advice to young film makers is to form co-ops and to get their work out there through Youtube and other means.
