Speaker: Capt Bob Meyer
Bob relived his WWII glider pilot experience through a documentary done about him by the Dutch Government. He went back on a recent trip to the Netherlands to commemorate their liberation from the German Army. This included visits to museums, landing sites and other places where he served 65 years ago as he says, " not to be honored, but to thank the Dutch for helping the crews of the gliders and the soldiers during this conflict". Thank you for sharing this with the club. It's hard to believe that Bob is 87 years old. We should all raise a glass and toast Bob for all the things he does for our club and our country's service people.

Veteran's Day is November 11th - Thank You to all of you who have served our country and helped preserve our freedom throughout the years.
