Album Name: Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Fundraiser Return to Albums
Album Date: May 1, 2010
Description: The Harlem Ambassador play the All-Star Rotary Wheel team at the Villa Park High Gymnasium as a fundraiser for our club. The event netted $7000 for the club to allocate to our local schools and other service projects.

Sign at VPHS-  that should read Harlem Ambassadors!!

Street signs prizes Food for the event at Jetro- hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. and this is only part of the food- no photo of the shish-kaboard meeting where members cut up veggies and meats to make the kabob- we had a large crowd that was treated to a tri-tip dinner thanks to executive chefs Steve and Lainey Stern Jetro Restaurant Depot- miles of aisles of food and restaurant products- Steve Stern was in heaven!! At the check out counter - how much will all this food cost? The answer: $672.07 Lainey Stern making the Rice Pilaf- an obvious candid photo since she doesn't like to pose. Event set up - Paul Hudson, Pam Dunn, Anita Jameson, Steven Pollack- locked out and no tables- with 90 minutes to go before the crowd arrived- We still look cool as cucumbers More Set-up about 3:30 and still locked out with no tables- What me worry(YES!!!)

We served about 100 shish kabob dinners at $30 per. Interact provides needed help - Veggie, Chicken and Steak Kabobs. Former Orange Mayor Joanne Koontz enjoys the buffet- Diane Marcus and Sarah Rice. Note all the smiles.
